Rodger
Dean Duncan, founder and president of The Duncan Company, is
widely known for his expertise in the strategic management of
change - for individuals as well as for organizations.
Education
and Experience
After earning a Bachelor's degree in psychology at Baylor
University (where he was elected class president), Duncan became
a journalist. He won national awards for his coverage of business,
law and politics. He was a special correspondent for two major
wire services. He edited two daily newspapers and authored a
nationally syndicated column.
Then
he turned 25.
Before he was 30, Duncan:

freelanced for some of the best publications in the nation,
including the New York Times, Denver Post, Coronet,
Boys' Life, Family Weekly, Christian Science
Monitor and Parade magazine;

earned a Master's degree at Brigham Young University;
-
was Wall Street representative for Texas entrepreneur Ross
Perot;
-
served as a full-time communication counsel to the Executive
Office of the President of the United States.
Duncan
earned his Ph.D. degree at Purdue University where he specialized
in communication and organizational dynamics. He has served
on the faculties at three leading universities and has published
many articles on communication and organizational behavior.
His television and film productions have won numerous awards
in the United States and Great Britain.
Strategic
Effectiveness
As head of worldwide communication at Campbell Soup Company,
Dr. Duncan played a key role in designing and implementing some
of the most effective communication strategies in Campbell's
131-year history. He was later appointed vice president of Kerr-McGee,
a Fortune 100 energy company.
The
Duncan Company, founded in Washington, D.C., in 1972, is now
headquartered in metropolitan Kansas City, Missouri. The Duncan
Company has affiliates throughout North America and in
Australia.
Rodger
Dean Duncan's focus - first and foremost - is on strategic effectiveness.
His work with one client helped produce a $207 million improvement
in profits in one year. It's now a case study at the Harvard
Business School.
Dr. Duncan provides strategic counsel to a broad range of organizations
