Our Client:

Westcoast Energy, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, is a leading North American energy company with assets of approximately $11 billion. Its 6,000 employees manage interests in natural gas gathering, processing, transmission, storage and distribution, as well as in power generation and in financial and information technology businesses.

Our Service:

As it positioned itself for improved performance in the highly competitive markets in which it operates, Westcoast Energy asked The Duncan Company to help it create a more accountability-based organizational culture. We used a custom-tailored version of our Culture Alignment Profile (CAP) process to assess the current culture at Westcoast. Then we recommended a number of initiatives to place the company's practices in better strategic alignment with its professed values. Approximately 18 months later, Westcoast asked us to conduct a second CAP analysis to ensure that its alignment work was having the desired effect.
